Subject: Important Information: Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) Case near Alford
 

Dear Parish Council,

We would like to inform you that a case of avian influenza (bird flu) H5N1 has been confirmed near Alford, East Lindsey. As a result, a 3km Protection Zone and a 10km Surveillance Zone have been established around the affected area.

We kindly ask for your assistance in sharing and displaying the attached poster within your parish to help inform bird keepers about their legal responsibilities and the current restrictions.
